Can someone please tell me what the appropriate punishment is for a 3 and 5 year old who spray half a bottle of laundry spot treater on a cat?

Maybe they should be the ones that have to bathe the cat.:) (if you have ever had to try and get a cat in water you will know why this is a punishment!). Poor little kitty.
